Jordan Brand created the Air Jordan 2010 “W3lcome Home” for Dwayne Wade back in May as a tribute to his home town of Chicago. Most recently, they have taken the Air Jordan Alpha 1 and given it the same sort of treatment.
At the beginning of May, Jordan Brand unleashed the Air Jordan 2010 “W3LCOME HOME”, a sneaker that pays tribute to Dwyane Wade and his hometown of Chicago. Although he ended up staying in Miami this off-season, Jordan Brand will continue to use Dwyane Wade and his hometown for themed sneakers. With that said, check out the Air Jordan Alpha 1 “W3LCOME HOME”. This Air Jordan Alpha 1 features a very similar colorway that is seen on the aforementioned Air Jordan 2010. White perforated leather is spotted on the toe area, while the rest of the sneaker (side panel, heel) is done up in red perforated leather. The “W3LCOME HOME” hints are only seen on the insole where the word, ‘W3LCOME’ is seen on the left insole and the word, ‘HOME’ seen on the right. The Air Jordan Alpha 1 “W3LCOME HOME” is now available at select retailers overseas; however, it should soon surface at stateside retailers soon.
The “W3LCOME HOME” collection of Jordan Brand was first seen in January 2010, while the next pair came during the month of May. This Miami Heat themed sneaker collection has become very popular ever since its inception and liked by all sneaker lovers.
