Sometimes the simplest colorways are the most effective. On Air Jordan retros like this version of the Air Jordan IX, the Chicago Bulls colorways seem the truest to form, and this one was originally crafted by Tinker Hatfield in 1993 which was quite an interesting year for His Airness, who retired to pursue greatness on the baseball diamond. This is obviously the original colorway of the Air Jordan 9, and it first surfaced on the scene in 1993. Since then, it has re-released in 2002 and again in 2008 (Air Jordan 9/14 CDP).
Will you snag this classic retro or pass on its third re-release in the past 10 years? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below. The sneaker may not have had a ton of action by the man himself that year, but that does nothing to take away from the beautiful design with a white upper that is surrounded on the collar and heel and a panel above the midsole in black. Red hits appear on the tongue and Jumpman on the heel. This release may not have the fanfare of some later models like the Air Jordan XI, but this is still a sleek model. You can grab yours starting tomorrow at retailers like Extra Butter. This is a very good shoes.I like it.
