Nike “Digg” Air Force 1 (One) Customs

Solebrother recently had the opportunity to create a custom sneaker for Matt Van Horn of Digg (the world’s largest social news website), which resulted in this “Digg” Air Force One Custom.A site that probably rings a few bells as one of the largest content sharing sites, Digg recently commissioned sneaker customizer Sole Brother to create a small batch of Air Force 1s.

Featuring the sites colorways, the shoe also includes a subtle feature which comes to life as the lights go out with a glow-in-the-dark all-over pattern of the Digg logo.The sneaker presents a spiffy Digg color scheme of blue and two shades of green, which represents the Digg top menu, as well as manilla, which represents the Digg Icon that appears next to each Digg post. However, the best part about the sneaker is the cool glow-in-the-dark “Digg” patterns that appear along the side panels.

There was a total of six pairs made, five pairs were given to the Digg Staff and the sixth pair was signed by Kevin Rose (Founder of Digg), Jay Adelson (CEO of Digg), and then given back to Solebrother.
